SLATE website for IIT Kanpur

PM SHRI ARUNACHAL Website for the Government of Arunachal Pradesh

We developed the PM SHRI Arunachal website to showcase the transformative work being carried out in schools by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. These schools embody the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 by providing high-quality, inclusive, and holistic education that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and overall student development.

SLATE (Sample Based Learning & Assessment Test), is a web application which tracks the over all performance of schools covered under multiple government initiatives. It maintains the data for multiple schools, scientific labs with respective allotted equipment to the schools across India.

SAMS Application for Samagra Shiksha Jammu & Kashmir

SAMS mobile app empowers state education department officials with real-time tracking and insights to strengthen the impact of educational initiatives. The app enables seamless monitoring of sessions conducted, projects completed, facilitation hours, and up-to-date mentor and teacher details. It also provides accurate status reports on equipment, tracks the number of students and teachers reached, and streamlines grievance redressal and feedback collection. By showcasing success stories and ensuring data-driven decision-making, the app supports transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across schools.

SLATE Application for Samagra Shiksha Uttarakhand

SLATE (Sample Based Learning & Assessment Test) is an Application version of SLATE website. It is an innovative application designed to monitor and track the overall performance of schools covered under various government initiatives. It efficiently maintains comprehensive data for multiple schools and scientific labs, along with details of equipment allocated to each institution across India, ensuring better planning, transparency, and impactful learning outcomes.

Our Projects

ATLs in Arunachal Pradesh

Ekrida has successfully set up more than 70 Atal Tinkering Labs in Arunachal Pradesh under the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), promoting innovation and STEM education through hands-on activities in robotics, electronics, and AI.

Aghaaz Labs in Jammu and Kashmir

The Aghaaz Initiative aims to ignite curiosity and passion for astronomy and astrophysics among students of classes 3rd to 12th across 376 government schools in Jammu and Kashmir. By setting up dedicated Astrophysics Labs and Celestial Jamboree Clubs, the program fosters hands-on learning and introduces scientific concepts through a playful, heuristic approach. Over 65,894 students and 4,580 teachers will benefit from capacity-building workshops led by experts from premier institutions like IITs, ISRO, and IISER. Through night sky observation sessions, reading circles, quizzes, model-making competitions, and state-level showcases, Aghaaz empowers students to think critically, explore the cosmos, and grow their interest in STEM fields, paving the way for a brighter, scientifically aware future.

ATLs in Uttarakhand

This project, led by IIT Kanpur in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha Uttarakhand, aims to establish 68 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) in selected PM SHRI government schools across the state. It is a pioneering step toward nurturing innovation, creativity, and hands-on STEM learning among school students. These labs are designed to empower young minds with tools and mentorship for real-world problem-solving. By bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, the initiative promotes a maker culture in government schools. The project sets a benchmark for scalable, tech-integrated educational transformation in hill states like Uttarakhand.

Exposure visit to IIT Kanpur

From February 29 to March 3, 2024, government teachers from Arunachal Pradesh visited IIT Kanpur in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha to enhance STEM education through innovation and knowledge exchange. The program aimed to strengthen pedagogical practices, promote interdisciplinary learning, and empower teachers with modern technological skills in areas like computational thinking, robotics, and cybersecurity. Highlights included interactive workshops led by IIT Kanpur professors on UAV technology, bioengineering, and Vedic Mathematics, along with hands-on experiments in physics, wireless communication, and aerospace technology. The visit wrapped up with an inspiring trip to the Regional Science City in Lucknow, encouraging educators to integrate cutting-edge STEM advancements into their classrooms.

Sathee Kendra for IITK

In collaboration with IIT Kanpur and the Ministry of Education, Government of India, the SATHEE Initiative empowers students and educators through dedicated SATHEE Kendras supported by Ekrida’s SATHEE Mitras. SATHEE Mitras manage the Kendras’ daily operations, guide students on free preparatory courses for major exams like Engineering, Medical, Banking, SSC, ICAR, and CUET, and facilitate practice tests, video lectures, doubt-clearing sessions, and performance tracking. They also build community connections, document activities, and deliver engaging lectures in core subjects. Complementing this, IIT Kanpur has developed four NEP 2020-aligned training manuals on coding, robotics, and AI, covering all school levels, along with comprehensive sourcebooks for effective assessment in Mathematics, EVS, and Languages. These resources play a vital role in transforming classroom practices, fostering critical thinking, and equipping students with essential 21st-century skills for a technology-driven future.
